++nio++ Progress of construction work in the Scandinavian Quarter

After clearing the ++nio++ construction site between Bornholmer, Malmöer and Finnländische Strasse and preparing it for the start of construction on 8 April 2016, a lot has happened in the Scandinavian Quarter. A large number of construction vehicles are on site, leaving the plot with a completely new look almost daily. In preparation for structural work, numerous tasks are on the agenda –  such as removing soil, installing bored piles, placing steel beams inside the ground, creating underpinning, and putting up back-anchoring for the trench lining.
